The Alfa Romeo 145 Quadrifoglio is a classic Italian car that was produced from 1995 to 2000. The 1997 model year marked a significant update to the car, with improved performance and styling. It was the flagship sport model with the two litre 16 valve Twin Spark inline four engine from the 155.
The Quadrifoglio, which means "four-leaf clover" in Italian, was the top-of-the-line model in the 145 range. It was powered by a 2.0-liter inline-four engine that produced 155 horsepower and 187 Nm of torque. This engine was paired with a five-speed manual transmission and was capable of reaching a top speed of 210 kmh.
The exterior of the Alfa Romeo 145 Quadrifoglio was designed to be sleek and sporty. It featured a distinctive front grille with the Alfa Romeo logo, as well as aggressive body styling with sharp lines and a low stance. The Quadrifoglio also had unique alloy wheels and a rear spoiler, which gave it a distinctive look on the road. It had deep body colour side skirts with "green cloverleaf" badges and five hole alloy wheels.
Inside, the Alfa Romeo 145 Quadrifoglio was designed to be comfortable and driver-focused. It featured sport seats upholstered in Alcantara, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a basic instrument panel with a large tachometer. The car had enough space to seat four people, although the rear seats were more suited to children or smaller adults. The two litre version had a unique trim level; included more standard equipment than the L trims, like ABS, leather wrapped steering wheel and shifter knob and Momo sport seats.
The Alfa Romeo 145 Quadrifoglio was a joy to drive, with nimble handling and excellent performance. Its suspension was well-tuned and provided a smooth ride, while the brakes were strong and responsive. The car was also surprisingly fuel-efficient, thanks to its lightweight construction and efficient engine.
The 1997 Alfa Romeo 145 Quadrifoglio was an important car for Alfa Romeo, as it helped to establish the company as a leading producer of small, sporty cars. It was popular with drivers, thanks to its excellent performance, stylish design, and fun driving experience. Today, the Alfa Romeo 145 Quadrifoglio is a highly sought-after classic car among collectors and enthusiasts. Its timeless design and enjoyable driving experience make it a true icon of Italian automotive history.
This Alfa Romeo 145 comes in the very rare Quadrifoglio Verde version. There are very few around if you search the web. The engine, a 1.970 ccm twin Spark with 155 hp, could push it to around 210 km/h. A respectable speed for a car in its segment.
The captivating lines, enriched by side skirts on which sports the legendary Quadrifoglio Verde, make it aggressive, the classic Alfa Red color enhances its sportiness.
This 145 Quadriglio Verde comes from a single owner, who kept it obsessively. The approximately 133.000 km traveled in fact seem not to have affected the conditions in the least, the car really looks like new.
All the records, shown both in the book service and in some invoices, were carried out on the official Alfa Romeo network, again at the same workshop, through which we found it.
The 15 Speedline wheels are surrounded by new tires and give it that extra racing car touch.
A Block Shaft burglar alarm has also been installed.
Driving this Alfa 145 is a real surprise: comfortable, aggressive, with excellent road holding and at the same time safe and reliable. It will make the happy owner satisfied to have brought home a rare piece that perhaps who knows in the short term will also have a fair revaluation.
