The 930 was the top-of-the-line 911 at the time and it was a significant upgrade over the standard model.

The 1985 Porsche 911 Turbo was powered by a 3.3-liter, flat-six engine that produced 300 horsepower and 432 Nm of torque. This was a significant increase over the standard 911’s engine. The turbocharged engine was paired with a four-speed manual transmission, which provided a thrilling driving experience. The 930 could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 5 seconds and had a top speed of 260 kmh. The 3.3-liter version of the 911 Turbo Carrera (known as the 930) could do 0-60 in about 5 seconds at a time when a new Ferrari or Corvette were hard pressed to do the same thing in less than 8.0 seconds.

The exterior of the 1985 Porsche 911 Turbo was also upgraded from the standard model. It had flared wheel arches, a distinctive rear spoiler, and a wider body to accommodate the larger wheels and tires. These design elements not only gave the car a more aggressive look but also improved its handling and stability at high speeds.

The interior of the 930 was also luxurious for its time. It had leather seats, air conditioning, power windows, and a premium sound system. The dashboard was designed with the driver in mind, with all the gauges and controls within easy reach. The steering wheel was also wrapped in leather and had a Porsche crest in the center.

The 1985 Porsche 911 Turbo was not just a powerful sports car, it was also a technological marvel. It was one of the first cars to feature a turbocharged engine and had advanced suspension and braking systems. The 930 also had a limited-slip differential, which improved traction and handling in difficult driving conditions.

Overall, the 1985 Porsche 911 Turbo was a significant upgrade over the standard model. It had more power, better handling, and a more luxurious interior. It was also one of the most technologically advanced sports cars of its time. Today, the 930 is a highly sought-after collector’s item. If you have the opportunity to drive one, you will not be disappointed.

This European example went directly to the United States to the first owner, the NFL player Louis Breeden. This matching numbers example came to the Czech Republic in 2017 and it has a Czech historic registration. The car has some special options like 3-piece BBS LM wheels, a stainless steel B&B exhaust.
This car has only two previous owners, a 3" file with a complete service documentation and history (total approx. $50.000 in invoices)! It comes also with a new clutch, new brakes and new tires (Michelin Sport Cup).
