The last week brings three picks of Italian cars (although one built under a Spanish licence) from the 50’s, all of them are also Mille Miglia elibible. Two of them also qualify into our list of Mille Miglia Cars On Budget.

1. TOP SALE OF THE WEEK – Alfa Romeo 1900 C Pininfarina (1953)

The most interesting buy was the Alfa Romeo 1900 C Pininfarina sold at Bring a Trailer on the 9th of July for only 185.000 USD including premium. It is a really rare car, only 100 examples were built, 36 are known to survive. Although this one is a RHD example only with a replacement engine, we still think it was a steal under 200k! 2. TOP SALE OF THE WEEK – Iso Isetta Espaňa (1955)

The Iso automobile company started to built the small Isetta microcar in 1953 not only in Italy, but also in their factory in Spain. Only about 1.000 cars were built in the Spanish plant. The Isettas started in the 1955 in the Mille Miglia, making this small microcar an eligible “racer”. Although this example was missing a VIN and documents, the final price of 14.950 EUR including premium at the Dorotheum Auction on the 10th of July is a real bargain. For this price it managed to get 25,88 points in our Mille Miglia Cars on Budget list, but because of the missing power, it was not enough to bring the car into the TOP 40. (auction link)

3. TOP SALE OF THE WEEK – Fiat 1100/103 Station Wagon (1955)

The last pick of the week is also a small Italian inexpensive car, a 1955 Fiat 1100/103, this time in a station wagon version. You can’t find this version often today, making it a quite rare car nowadays. And the final price of 9.775 EUR including premium paid at Aste Bolaffi on the 7th of July was one of the lowest prices for a MM eligible car model. Although we are really not sure, if it would be accepted in the station wagon version. So we decided to give the car a lower probability of being accepted, so the final score in our Mille Miglia Cars on Budget list was only 25,00 points placing it even behind the small Isetta.
